Dan has over 20 years experience in civil and transportation engineering. All of his professional experience has been with LONCO, Inc., which demonstrates an unusual level of stability and commitment both from the company and Dan. His career has encompassed a variety of project types. Dan is best known, however, for his work in the bridge design community. He has designed curved steel bridges for both RTD and CDOT. He has completed large viaducts in both steel and precast concrete. Dan’s design projects involving precast concrete girders are numerous and include 47th Avenue over Sand Creek, Fontaine Boulevard over Jimmy Camp Creek, and Cherry Street over Cherry Creek. He has designed three bridges over the Colorado River (29 Road and V.5 Bridge Repair in Mesa County and County Road 301 in Eagle County). He has participated in timber bridge projects in scenic areas such as Routt County, Grand Lake, and Silver Plume. Most of Dan’s projects also include some level of construction phase services, allowing him to serve his clients from the earliest planning stages to final completion.
