Lorson Ranch

LONCO, Inc. was retained to design a bridge to carry Fontaine Boulevard over Jimmy Camp Creek. The bridge accommodates a four-lane arterial section with a center median and a sidewalk on the south side. This section required a bridge 105-feet wide. The bridge is 231-feet from back face of abutment to back face of abutment and is a two-span configuration. The typical section of the bridge incorporates fourteen precast concrete BT54 girders. LONCO also designed large pile-supported retaining walls at each comer of the abutments to accommodate bicycle trails adjacent to both abutments. LONCO was also retained to provide shop drawing review and construction observation services.
