Nine Mile Parking Structure

Several areas in the Nine Mile Parking Structure had experienced damage/deterioration to the structure that would be premature to normal operations. LONCO, Inc. evaluated consistency of spalling concrete at double tee connection angles, delaminating concrete at inverted tee beams, concrete spalling at corbels, and spalling concrete at columns.

LONCO conducted a detailed field survey of the distressed parking structure. LONCO also conducted a detailed structural analysis of the members found experiencing damage and/or deterioration.

A detailed report with recommendations for repairs and a cost estimate was presented to the Regional Transportation District.

The final design of repairs and actual construction of repair details was accomplished by RTD and the original building contractor.
