LONCO, Inc. has 38 years of involvement with the Off-System Bridge Inventory program.
Program Goals
- Updating the National Bridge Inventory
- Performing inspections of bridges owned by the State, cities, counties, and the US Forest Service
- Inspection of bridges within their specific inspection cycle
- Communicating the condition of bridges to the owners
- Notify bridge owners of postings, urgent repairs, and recommend closures
- Provide recommendations for program repairs, or replacement of structurally deficient and/or functionally obsolete bridges
Performance Goals
- Working safely in both field and/or office
- Providing consistent and accurate reports
- Conducting quality visual structural evaluations
- Utilizing trained and qualified personnel
- Interacting smoothly with CDOT, Municipalities, and the public
- Providing prompt and accurate response to critical issues
- Meeting schedules and budgets
