Naperville Park District – Bridge and Structural Inspections

LONCO, Inc was responsible for inspecting over 40 structures for the Naperville Park District. The structures included 26 Pedestrian Bridges, 3 Covered Bridges, 2 vehicular Bridges, 5 fishing/overlook piers and two floating piers. The structure types included concrete, steel and timber structures. Our Engineering Team completed the inspections using the National Bridge Inspection System (NBIS) standards and prepared reports in a compressed time frame. The project included the development of bridge load ratings for selected bridges. Also included was the development of cost estimates for the maintenance/repair of items noted in the reports.
