About Us
LONCO, Inc. is a consulting engineering firm specializing in high quality engineering design and project management services in the civil, structural, and transportation engineering disciplines for a wide variety of clients throughout the United States. The company was originally formed in 1962 as the Lovell-Osnes-Nisbet Company; soon after the name was shortened to LONCO.
Initially, from our office in Denver, Colorado, the three founding Principals: Jack Lovell, John Osnes and W. Don Nisbet (all formerly employed by the Ken R. White Company) concentrated their work in the areas of educational facilities and airport engineering. Today, operating from offices in both Colorado and Illinois, LONCO is able to provide an expanded array of engineering services to a wide variety of clients.
LONCO's experienced engineers are licensed in nearly every state across the country, and in the District of Columbia, and Canada. This diversity allows us to expand our consulting services and to offer design/development programs and project management services to clients which include:
- Field Investigations
- Feasibility studies
- Engineering investigations and reports
- Structural design of industrial and commercial facilities/special structures
- Civil design including roadways and site development
- Transportation design and construction inspection services
- Bridge design
- Bridge inspection and bridge rating
- Bridge and sign information management services
Operating in the engineering field for a half century, LONCO has managed, designed, and/or monitored through construction, thousands of innovative project solutions. Since 1962, our clients have diversified to nearly all market sectors: commercial, industrial, legal, residential, energy, recreational, financial, educational, historic preservation, and institutional, as well as various county, municipal, state, and federal agencies.
LONCO employees from both office locations work collaboratively to offer high quality engineering, planning, and design services with the highest degree of efficiency.
